Present your Body

"I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service" (Romans 12:1)

While exercise was not a priority in Biblical times, Paul instructs us to "present your bodies a living sacrifice." Each of us is advised to take care of our body since it is the "temple of the Holy Spirit."

A Caregiver

Taking care of an aging parent can cause fatigue, stress, even depression. But you can find help if you know where to look.

Ten years ago, Margo Aparicio rescued her widowed mother, Genevieve, from near death because of a neglectful aide. Although she did it out of love, Aparicio never imagined the toll caregiving would take on her health and emotions.

Genevieve suffered not only from diabetes, incontinence, and dementia but also

My husband and I have been together for over 8 years. The funny thing is he gets messier and messier. In the beginning he would help out with laundry, put his clothes away, and occasionally cook dinner. But times have certainly changed. He often forgets that we have a hamper ,leaves his dirty clothes on the floor by his side of the bed,and leaves swirl marks in the toilet. Gross huh? He also takes his shoes off in the middle of the hallway and leaves them there.I have tripped over them countless times.

2. Try to rest and relax.

What Does the Bible say about Masterbation

"This is one of our most frequently asked questions. Many Christians have found it difficult to answer this question according to the Bible, because the Bible never mentions masturbation specifically. To understand how God feels about this subject, we must examine other verses that deal with issues such as lust, self-control and purity. Also, we must examine its fruit to see if it is from God. We have tried to address this issue by answering some of the most frequently asked questions. Our prayer is that God will use this page to bring freedom

Did I have a Drinking Problem

I Came to my Senses and took stock of where I was: in a cab, with blood streaming down my face and spattering my trench coat. I looked out the window and in the glow of the streetlights saw the cab was on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, waiting for the light to change at 76th Street. The church on the corner reminded me it was Sunday, and I looked at my watch. It was almost midnight. The few people on the street were buttoned up against the late winter chill, but it was warm in the cab.

Our Pastor’s Wife

She is that very special lady who has graced our Church in many ways. We are so thankful that when God refers to woman, and he speaks about wisdom, he says " She". Often she is strong, soft, caring and helpful. We have no expectations of her except to see
