I do not want a messy car or home

How to keep your car Neat and feel Good about It!

Dump your ashtray. Don't allow it to build up with cigarettes. It will stink and be bad for the car and bad for your health. Better yet, get a car without an ashtray. This gives you incentive to quit smoking!

Each time you leave your car, grab garbage if there is any and dump it into a garbage can. We all have a habit of eating in our car, especially if you have kids. When you eat, dump it into a bag and take it out with you. Get into the habit of grabbing and chucking. I actually pull into the nearest gas station and dump some things in their garbage receptacle. Use seat covers that you can wash. Not all are unattractive, some are actually very nice.

Get the car cleaned once a month and especially when it snows. That salt eats away at the paint and is very detrimental to your vehicle.

Keep all papers in your glove compartment instead of on your dashboard.

Place some mats on the floor of your car up front and in the back.

Use the cup holder, that's what it's for.

Stack a cleaning supply box in your trunk. Stock it with Windex, paper towels and washer fluid.

Carry around handy wipes, Lysol wipes, armor all wipes. All of these come in handy.

Dust busters are great for cars. There's the handy vac too. Use it. Crumbs, dust, dirt, clean it up.

Keeping your car trunk organized can be as simple as making sure that there is a place for everything in your car's trunk.

Buy a laundry basket. It should be sturdy and easy to carry.

Place the laundry basket in your car trunk, along with the another basket or container.

Use the second basket or container to hold all of your tools and the other things that stay in your trunk.

Put anything that does not need to stay in your car in the laundry basket.

Carry your laundry basket inside after every car trip to get rid of groceries, extra clothes, or whatever else ends up in the trunk.

Here are a few things you can do to keep your car nice and neat.

How to Keep the Inside of Your Car Clean

Is the outside of your car cleaner then the inside?

No shame. Perhaps you have been missing the time, energy, or money. Now is the time to make the inside cleaner and more organized.

Begin by taking out all unnecessary items such as old coffee cups, excessive change, old car registration from 3 years ago, your last girlfriend's/boyfriend's picture. These steps will make your car more organized

Use eco-friendly cleaners/polishers to make the inner car clean (Check with trusted people/websites/magazines for recommended products).

Decide what you need versus want in your car. For instance, you need a flashlight, a child's car seat/child booster seat, extra blanket, spare tire, and non-perishable food but you can do without imported car seats.

Make a monthly schedule to review the items to remain in the car and take out old items.

A messy car is a sign of a disorganized life. You do want to impress your friends in a positive way, don't you.

If you invite someone to ride with you, you don't want them to say no because of a messy car.

I recently had someone tell me that my clean house so impacted them that they went home and started cleaning and organizing their home and it is taking some time but is greatly improved. I never thought my home would help someone else, but it can hamper others from visiting if it is a mess or your car is a mess.

If you are single and want to meet that right lady, a messy car or home will turn off someone you might care about. Further you don't want to live in a Pigs Pen and if she isn't bothered by filth, she won't be the kind of woman you would want to be with either.

Someone once said, "A clean desk is the sign of a sick mind", but that quote came from a messy person. A clean desk indicates to people that you care about things and you will care about them. It takes a little extra effort, but people want to believe that you will go the extra mile for them, not just do what you have to, to get by.

Remember, the Lord says if we are luke warm, he will spit us out of his mouth. He also says, "Do everything as if you are doing it for the Lord." I'm sure what ever you are going to doing for the Lord will be done with perfection.

The bottom line is a clean car and a clean home tells people you are organized and they would not want to believe you are disorganized. An organized person is one that has a good plan and carries it out, striving to do things well.
