Do you even wonder what keeps certain people going year after year? Those who read these articles must recognize by now that Paul is one of my heroes - NOT an idol, but a hero - there is an immense difference. What make Paul tick? What motivated him? What kept him so utterly faithful when so many circumstances - and people! - appeared to be going against him?

At the end of Acts Chapter 20,

A major issue within the ranks of pastors is discouragement. One denominational leader, giving oversight to some 125 churches recently wrote that "70-80% of pastors are discouraged, with some being very desperate." Those estimates are consistent with what others are saying as well.

Ministry obviously takes its toll. Health providers for clergy are aware that an inordinate amount of payouts are going to therapists

"All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. NIV - 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Resolving conflict is not one of my favorite parts of ministry but is a necessary part if we want to keep order and peace among the brethren.

I'm going to tell you in a nutshell, a better way to love the woman you married. Is that okay with you? It is called loving with wisdom. Do these 5 things on a consistent basis and, after one month let me know if your marriage has improved or not.
